Our Motive!
It is easy to perceive the atrocity targeting the future generation. Besides the media publicity of mental illness, all indexes point to a disastrous future marked by mental disability. Notably, trends in major depression and mood disorders among youth 12 to 18 years in age are indicators of the collapse in families. There is a breakdown in family structure, function, and dynamism and hence a rise in criminality due to the increase in juvenile delinquency accompanying school drop-outs, gun violence, and gang activity in perpetuity. Family breakdown is also evident in scenarios of inadequate parenting.

A sense of hopelessness runs through the above cited issues as people are compelled to seek quick answers and quick solutions without having the necessary insight to deal with the fundamental problem. Jesus Christ recommends the narrow gate in Luke 13:22-30. Taking the narrow gate does not mean that we should not receive and enjoy adequate resources in life, but rather that it requires diligence to be a beneficiary of God’s guidance and the promised abundance that comes with it. Taking the narrow gate requires confining ourselves to the parameters God has set within His word regarding principles of divine living. How will children conduct themselves in a way that will make them remain on the right path? They can do so solely by God’s grace and under the right adult mentor-ship. Those who ignore the narrow gate will mostly end up making poor choices leading to premature spiritual, mental, and eventually physical death.

Harvest Team Initiatives assembles is a group of individuals, churches and Christian Faith-based organizations believing that the link among Christians, which is the redemption of mankind through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, and the pursuit of holiness in one’s daily living surpass all doctrinal differences that ever existed in the history of Christianity. They have all embraced God’s grace, are welcoming whosoever will be in need of the service provided with no regard to individual’s age, ethnicity, physical, socio-economic or moral/ spiritual background. The services hereby provided rely on biblical instructions in its integrity; nothing except perfectly aligned with the word of God will be promoted. Also, we believe that the gathering of the saints is more than necessary today in order to respond to the manifold crisis experienced by our societies, as the leader in humanism (Head Position).

What we do?
We support, encourage and facilitate a the sense of trusting and loving communication style among churches that are in the same vicinity; making them owning to the problems in the region and together seeking answers. Our chief goal is to facilitate their collaboration in view of efficiently tackling the major problems terrorizing their neighborhoods/communities from a household approach in order to salvage our streets and the next generation (the youth).

What we believe?
We believe that the power of agreement(matt 18:20) is the key ingredient needed to solve any problem of spiritual essence for Christian believers. The crisis that we encounter in our communities today even as we witness the creation of church premises in every corner of the block could not be effectively addressed unless these churches begin to have collective agenda in view of bringing light in their respective communities. On the cross, all was done; we just have to adopt that collective presence for the spirit of God to do its work. It is not our ability to pray or our individual anointing only.
